This is the nation's
Christmas tree and this is main street downtown Stevensville. And just where did that tree come from? That's right! Right here in Montana about 25 miles down the road from our house. It is making it's way back to Washington D.C. and it's first stop was in Stevensville. I think it was pretty cool. The tree is about 100 feet tall. They had a short program and we could all view the tree(semi truck with tarps). They did have some veiwing windows in the back where you could see the very top of the tree. A local Montanan wrote the official 2008 Capitol Christmas Tree ballad, and he preformed the song for us.
We were all encouraged to sign the banner that goes with it. Isn't the back of Mickayla's head so cute.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYAN!!! 50 BIG ONES.
Missy:"After 50 years how do you feel?"
Bryan: "It takes a little longer to recover after a long hike but other than that GREAT."
Missy: "Anything else you would like to add?"
Bryan: "No."
And the interview is over . "Joe the Plumber" goes back to reading and ignoring all that is around him. Sound like his younger years Arlene?
Anyway we are glad he is 50 and looks and feels as good as he does after 1 wife, 5 kids, and 4 grandchildren, 7 goats and a whole bunch of Boy Scouts.
Thanks for all you do " Joe the Plumber". Before the now infamous Joe the Plumber in politics, I called him Plumber Joe. Either way it is good to have him around.

This is our family at Thanksgiving 2007.If we look a little pail (espessialy me) then that is because instead of gaining ten pounds we all lost ten pounds! Eriks son Brakken (the older one) got the flew before he came up here and then the night before thanksgiving Erik go it so he couldn't eat anything! But the day after Thanksgiving is when we all got sick! But surprisingly the only people who didn't get sick was Sharilyn, and she was around sick people the longest! Oh and my dad didn't get sick but that's becuase he never gets sick! Tasha and Alex didn't get sick that much because they all ready had the cold so they were pretty much okay! So we had a lot of Thanksgiving leftovers because if we ate anything we would be puking our guts out! So that was our very, very fun Thanksgiving! Yeah right!
